1^st BIG ICON 2010

Launching a new radio after 10 FM stations in town was a deadly tough and hard enough to compete. After 11 Months of broadcasting history it is very good news to share that BIG FM 101.2 MHz has become a credible medium for information and a great entertainer of this region. We are proud of our team and professionals who have proved that 'winners don't do different things they do differently*'. Neilson Nepal (AC Neilson), the research organization says BIG FM has topped the position in western region and our program Aaunus Jitnus Jaanus (AaJiJaa) is in apex in popularity among radio programs. And our own research says (68% of the respondents among 987) BIG FM 101.2 MHz is the 1st choice of youth and women. (Research was held in Rastriya Aaudhyogik Byapar Mela 2066, by Pokhara Udhyog Banijya Sangh, Kaski)

Now, on the occasion of our very first anniversary, we are doing singing competition called 1st BIG ICON 2010, which is the first singing competition in Nepal, organized by an FM station giving worth Rs. 200,000 prize amount. Making it a platform for upcoming singers, our goal is to set it as ‘a Dream Event’ of year.
